Science Week
There was lots of fun investigating and experimenting in all classes to celebrate Science Week from 11th-18th November. Pupil’s conducted experiments into “How plants drink?” and made Lava Lamps. Playdough boats were also created to investigate the properties of floating and sinking.
Many classes used the LightBot app to learn how to programme a character to move through space and follow other commands. Some pupils even brought in their own experiments to show to the class.
The highlight of the week was a visit from “Mrs. Bubbles”, which was funded by Cavan Couny Council. “Mrs. Bubles” taught the pupils how different bubbles can be formed in various 3-D shapes.
